Moshpit Studios emerged as a collaborative venture between Grammy Award-Winning producer Darryl Swann and VR enthusiast Ans Shabbir, signaling a paradigm shift in music discovery through virtual reality. 'Moshpit', a music-based video game, was conceived by Swann in the late 90s as the game-console market ramped up, and was in talks with many game developers including Sam Houser of Rock Star Games.

Now, Moshpit has matured into a grand concert-gaming platform, blending action-adventure elements with music exploration. Darryl and Ans are united in their mission to disrupt traditional music industry norms, providing artists with an innovative platform to showcase their talents and engage with audiences on a deeper level.

“Despite having an abundance of tech talent, Pakistan still does not have a AAA game studio. Only games being developed by small studios are either clones for the mobile platform, or outsourced aspects of foreign games which offer foreign companies less expensive development costs. Seeing all this, establishing a AAA quality game studio in Pakistan has been a lifelong dream of mine. The last 2 years of crafting and perfecting every pixel of Moshpit VR and working with Darryl and the partners has made this a passion of mine.
